Unit Condition Info: The conditions in the Gila Mountains have been much better this spring they are getting rain now and should lead to a better year as many elk from the fire in unit 1 Arizona have moved into the area. This would also be a great year for bear as the number of bears is way over the average again from the fires across the border in Arizona. Please call for availability as these tags are "for sale" until appropriate funds are in our bank. The posted price is for 1 tag or per each. We recommend using bank transfer or bank draft for the fastest or most secure service or a credit card. Please be aware that any unit 15 elk landowner tag purchased and paid for utilizing a credit card will be accessed a 4% upcharge to cover the fees charged by the banks. The unit 15 New Mexico COW elk hunting tag still requires that you purchase a state-issued license for that unit as well as gives a hunter the right to hunt on all open public land in unit 15 including the private land where landowners received unit wide 15 COW elk hunting tags. Please always get written permission before trespassing on any and all private property.
