New Castle, Colorado Hunting Information

Where the Colorado River and Colorado Hunting Units 33 and 34 meet sits the small town of New Castle. With the White River National Forest to the North, it is no surprise that this is one of the most lush and green hunting grounds in the state. Predominantly public land, Units 33 and 34 are most esteemed for their elk and deer hunting. However, with the over-the-counter availability of antelope tags in this area, hunters flock to these units to test their luck with antelope hunting, oftentimes leaving empty-handed.
